My boyfriend and I love Gosu! We always say that Go-su is our Go-to in Logan square. He always gets the bulgogi or the steak bi bim bop bowl. I have had several things there. My favorites are the bulgogi, jop chae, and their sushi is really delicious! This place is so reasonably priced and it's BYOB! It is a really pleasant atmosphere and its always pretty empty. We often are concerned that it may shut down because there seems to be so little business. I would be so sad if it did. So everyone should eat food from Gosu, it's amazing!

Seriously, this is some of the best sushi I've ever had. I'm the type that goes for the non-authentic / less fishy, so your mileage may vary. I tend to go for shrimp/crab combos, but still eat the fish. They had 3 or 4 rolls that featured cooked meats (the best one was deep-fried fully formed). Those were amazing. Another awesome thing was I liked customizing every roll. In the future, every roll gets a +crunchy from me!

Appreciated the complimentary salad and miso soup! My veggie udon was delivered piping hot, the rolls were very fresh and well-portioned, and delivery was quick on a Friday night (I live 2 miles away).

We LOVE ordering from this restaurant! The food is so good (we love eating there as well) and they have something for everyone in the family. Highly recommend short rib meal, drunken wings and the dragon rolls.

In Korean, Gosu is a term to describe one with superior, or exceptional, skill. It is a word that can describe a person in anything ranging from video games to martial arts. And as the name suggest, the restaurant's chef and owner, Bang, is a gosu of Korean and Japaneses food. Bang has cultivated her knowledge of Korean and Japanese food through opening multiple restaurants in Illinois for the past 15 years. Most prominently and most recently, she has spent the last 7 years servicing her customers with the culmination of her best dishes and sushi at Hama Matsu in andersonville. We look forward to serving you and we hope that we will have lived up to the title of Gosu as you leave our doors.
